In the spirit of matter in trans* (*transition, transformation, translation…) how to define space, how to , it could be a factory, a site in construction after the ruination of an infrastructure. As movement never stops matter will move through the body of time. In the crack of a stone, in a room of decay and transformation in deep time sound will sculpt itself. In the potential to sculpt a future body, through the process of contamination, in the thresholds of nature-technology, geology-cosmology, heritage-futurity, , a burning orange sunset of what has been left behind, or of what was just born. To facilitate the collapse and growth of an imageget defined by the landscape? To trace the origin of a material and their potential translation, the expansion of their bodily capability. Bodies, rooms, architectures, landscapes, atmospheres, ghosts, a fragrance, a sound. It could be a shedanarchitecture, community building in delay and reverb--a bodies afterlife. To break matter in precision and stitch it back, to diconstruct, to shed the body/ the vessel/the container. A leaking vessel, an unbuilding body formation.

Chryso Amaya Michailidis (Rotterdam/Chania). At the moment, they are writing their thesis called ‘All I Want Is Everything, Is That a Problem?’ and will graduate in July 2026 at TENT Rotterdam with the Master Fine Art program at the Piet Zwart Institute. Next to their studies they work as a visual artist, performer, they have a sound project called ‘my imaginary friends (Of Which I Have Many)’ and are a scenographer for various artists in cinema and theatre in the Netherlands, Belgium and Greece.
